Description

Carved palmwood bark cloth beater; cylindrical handle; beater is rectangular with four sides, one surface has grid-like incisions; bears writing in white: MS 35 TAPA CLOTH BEATER TORRES STRAITS; indentations on both handle and beater. Registration number 818 marked with pen and tag.
