Description

Wooden throwing stick, decorated with 12 bands of light coloured pigment on the front side.

Research notes

Visiting Elders from the Jigalong Community (Timmy Paterson and Jimmy?) suggested that the red and white stripes on this item indicate that it may be associated with rainmaking ceremony [21/11/2002].
