Feather bunch 160 x 180 mm; shell diameter 190 mm; rattle 80 x 140 mm; total length 800 mm. Chest ornament hung around neck consists of feather bunch (red, yellow and black feathers) tied to string thread with seed pods. Large shell disc is central element. Tied to woven and plaited grass which is covered in miniature shells. Woven and plaited grass forms loop to go over neck. At the end of this is a seed pod rattle. Sixteen seed pods each with bamboo tube through the centre. Seed pods painted red. Registration number is written on shell.
