Carved wood club mostly flat and tapering at both ends; one end is bulbous; design consisting mainly of transverse markings with dots in between is burnt on; bears writing in white: Prof. Schindler. Registration number 4108 marked with pen and tag.
Originally recorded as coming from Papua New Guinea however Alan West (valuer) suggests this may be more likely from Australia. [Old Catalogue Card: this comes from Papua and is made to represent a serpent].
