Description

Round tapa cloth; black, brown, cream; concentric circles each with a different type of design.

Research notes

The tapa cloth was collected between 1900 - 1910 by the donor's grandfather Reverend Albert Henry Piper the first Seventh Day Adventist missionary from Australasia in Rarotonga. Attributed by Reverend Piper's daughter Clarice as coming from Tonga or Samoa.
