Colour poster, 710 x 430mm, 'Racism is Union Business so Practice Equality in your Workplace'. Dominated by painting by Mervyn Russell, a 17 year old Brisbane based artist. There is a large central oval with the caption lettering in its border, and inside are 6 figures in three pairs, each pair consisting of one black and one white figure. The figures in each pair are linked - the top pair with crossed arms, the middle pair sharing a book, and the pair at the bottom both holding a stylised spade.
Posters 40127 to 40129 are a series of three anti-discrimination / anti-racism posters selected from the 'Bold Type' poster-art competition and exhibition conducted by the Queensland Branch of the ACTU, which was only open to Queensland based indigenous artists. All the entries and the winning poster series werer launched at the Queenslan Museum on 3 August 1995.
