A rectangular section of feather money made with Cardinal Honeyeater feathers in a glass frame with label. Registration number 3664 marked with tag.

Feather plate likely to be from Santa Cruz.

From the UQ Anthropology Museum exhibition 'In the Red; on the vibrancy of things' June 2012 - January 2013.

Catalogue Book 2 notes as rare, from Malaita and given to donor by Mr Widdey, manager for Lever Brothers at Gavutu, Solomons. Lever Bros manufactured Sunlight Laundry Soap, and had a palm oil plantation in the Solomon Islands. The company went on to become Unilever.
