Description

OCC: [Headbands 3649 and 3650] are made of modern webbing with the ends frayed and then tied with ordinary string. Length of webbing part is 12 inches, and the width is 2 3/4 inches and 2 1/4 inches. There has been some attempt at using red ochre,

OCC: [Headbands 3649 and 3650] are very modern manufacture and were given by Mr R Clayton of Darwin, who said they belonged to the Marranunga tribe, now nearly extinct.
