Hand painted and coloured figure on thick cream paper by Gaiarbau. Depicts man with pink, white, yellow and black decoration on his body and face. Figure appears to be drawn in black paint and coloured using chalk or pastels.
There is one inscription on the front of the paper in black ink/paint that reads “Blood brother to collect sister”. There is also an inscription in blue ink. It reads “Peaceful errand therefore white”. There is another inscription on the reverse of the paper that reads “Figures coloured in chalk for coroboi. Colouring done by Gaiarbau”.
Drawn by Gaiarbau during his meetings with L.P. Winterbotham, likely between 1950 and 1955.
