Research notes

12 Jan 2001 Moved from Room 14 to Area 16. Part of a set of 339 Ingiat figures [24626 to 24964] which were associated with a secret society which taught male initiates how to inflict harm on enemies, and protect themselves from such harm and illness, as well as how to hold power over women and be successful at fishing. Almost all of which were exhibited in Museum Display No. 19, 1982.
