Wrapped black cotton headdress with multi-coloured tassels and multi-coloured beads woven across the top. There is also a multi-coloured woollen tassel with beads at one end.

Single woman's hat with many tassels. Items 23908 to 24133 and 24322 to 24331 were the private collection of Mrs Martin who went to the Province with the American Baptist Mission to set up an international marketing organisation for the tribal arts, mainly textile. Other Thai Hill tribes items purchased from Mrs Martin can be found at 24425 to 24438.
