Description

Incised, bamboo headrest. As reported for Australian Museum survey 1982: Length 74.1cm; Circumference 20cm; Consists of one segment of bamboo. It stands 15.5cm high. The legs are triangular 12cm wide at base. They are tied to the bamboo with native string through holes in the underside of the headrest. Intricately incised in panels over entire surface.
