Description

Leilira blade and sheath. Quadragonal. Uniface. Gum adhesive grip. Sheath of tea tree bark bound with cord made from plant material for 1.5 cm at centre of sheath [Archaeological Collection Catalogue Card].

Knife and sheath: See 1527a.

The knife consists of a pale white-grey quartzite blade set within a brown resin handle. The sheath is has a total length of approximately 18.4 cm.. The overall length of the knife is 16.3 cm (out of sheath); within the sheath, the overall length is 23.5 cm.
