Description

A large broad shield of light coloured light-wood. The entire surface of both the face and the back has been engraved with parallel lines, orientated along the vertical axis, with some patterning. The lines converging into the pointed ends of the shield. There is some red paint on the face but too worn to identify a pattern. On the back, the engraving is more obvious. There are two thick bands of red paint, one all along the outer margin of the shield and one down the central vertical axis.
