Description

Cassowary bone dagger with feather 'tail'. The dagger is manufactured from the femur of the cassowary, it has a sharpened point on one end and the bone joint on the other. On the end with the bone joint is an attached leather cord, attached to this is a 'tail' of feathers. Somewhat like a foxtail. Length measurements for the bone is 345mm, width at the joint end is 60mm. The leather cord is 80mm and the feather tail is 320mm.
