Elliptical coiled split cane shield with pointed top and bottom; wider at the bottom; horizontal handle at centre on reverse; layers of pandanus leaf line the back of the shield. Design made with black-dyed split cane woven into the shield; visible on front and reverse; outer coil is plaited. Registration number 11038 marked with pen and tag.
