Carved wood flute stopper in the form of a male figure surmounted by bird; shell eyes, fibre bands on arms and tassels attached to ears.

Research notes

Donor believed wood stopper to be very old, indicated by the mend in the cockatoo's neck (bird is atop human figure) [ref Catalogue Book 2].
